I have dabbled in writing for years, but it wasn't until my sister Janie Berry, who is also a writer and illustrator, took me to a writing conference. This encouraged me to take my story writing to a new level. After that first conference, I realized I didn't have a clue what it took to write a novel but I wasn't deterred. I took this as a challenge to learn and realized I have been a storyteller all my life. For the last 43 years, I have spent my days working full time at my sign business, including two nights a week helping my daughter’s bakery, frosting cakes and doing the decorations. The rest of my time is shared with family, painting, crafts, gardening, and most of all writing. Everything is an adventure to me, and I want to experience it all. I even built the addition on our house by myself. With my husband Richard, we enjoy showing collector cars where I do my “Car Talk” to spectators explaining about the car. I love reading an exceptional story and want to give my readers the same feeling. I have many more stories to share, with those who choose to read my books.  Stay tuned, there is more to come!
